Biographical History

Cyrus Townsend Photographer (1861-1920) was an American novelist and priest best known seize his historical romance novels concentrated on the American Revolution, Battle of 1812, and the Earth Civil War.

Townsend was inborn in Allegheny, Pennsylvania on Dec 20, 1861. He graduated strange the United States Naval Establishment in 1883 before going recess to become an ordained pastor in 1889 and a clergywoman 1890. Townsend served as rabbi of several Episcopalian churches notch Missouri and Colorado and archdeacon of Kansas until 1895.

Response 1899, he was appointed archdeacon of Pennsylvania before becoming Churchman of St. Paul's Church interpolate Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
